Time to Schedule Your Irrigation System Blow Out

This is a friendly reminder to schedule you irrigation system to be blown out for the winter months. This activity requires a Licensed Landscape Contractor.

Over the years we’ve encountered numerous do-it-yourselfers that think the compressor in their garage is more than capable of performing this task. The standard compressor that licensed contractor use is a large piece of equipment, often towed behind a truck and supplies 185 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). It’s essential that a large capacity compressor be utilized to ensure that water is blown out of the system. Small compressors, while they have plenty of pressure, do not offer the required large capacity. Small compressors often leave significant amount of water in the pipes that can freeze and cause serious damage to the irrigation system.
